FareFloor works without an account. Every price, baseline, chart, and researched reason is available to anyone, on the website and in the app, with nothing to sign up for.
In the app you can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email code to keep your saved routes and alerts across devices. An account stores your email address (or the private relay address Apple gives you if you choose to hide your email), your saved routes, your home airport, and whether you asked for the weekly email. Nothing else. You can delete the account from the app’s You tab at any time; deletion removes the account, its saved routes, its alerts, and its email subscription immediately.
If you subscribe to deal alerts on the website, or tick the weekly email when signing in to the app, we store your email address and chosen origin airport and use them only to send those emails. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Push notifications in the app use a device token issued by Apple or Google through Expo’s push service; we store that token with the airports and routes you asked to be alerted about, and remove it when you turn alerts off or the device stops accepting notifications.
One functional cookie (ff_currency) remembers your preferred display currency for up to a year. Standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, requested page) exist for security and capacity purposes, as with virtually every website.
We measure how the product is used with PostHog (anonymous events such as “board loaded” or “deal opened”, with no session recording) and, on the website, Google Analytics for aggregate statistics. Page and screen views also generate an internal visit notification with city-level location, timezone, referrer, page, and device type — never your IP address, name, or account identity. Analytics events are not linked to your email.
Feedback sent from the app is stored with the app version and platform, and with your email only if you choose to include it for a reply.
Map tiles are served by Mapbox, city photos by Pexels, and fares link out to Aviasales, our booking partner (affiliate links via the Travelpayouts network). Once you leave FareFloor, their privacy policies apply. Authentication is provided by Supabase; Apple and Google handle their own sign-in under their policies.
We don’t sell or share personal data, run advertising, use third-party advertising trackers, or use your searches to build profiles. Airport searches run against our own index.
