- Every route's 'usually' price is a typical-price baseline built from observed fares — Google Flights' typical price range where available, otherwise the median of fares observed across that route's departure dates. It is measured, not invented. The deal percentage is simply how far today's lowest found round-trip fare sits below that baseline, and each route page charts the tracked fares so you can see the anomaly yourself.
- What does the Deal Score mean?
- The Deal Score (0–100) blends four signals: how far the fare is below its usual price (45%), where it sits in the last ~60 days of tracked prices (30%), whether Google itself flags the current level as low (10%), and itinerary quality — direct beats connections (15%). Above roughly 75 is exceptional; 55–75 is solidly good.
- Why don't I pick a destination first?
